Cindy’s training methods can be characterized as effective, functional, and fun. She has the ability to combine traditional methods of training using machines and dumbbells, with more progressive forms of training using medicine balls, fit balls, wobble boards, foam rollers, and elastic tubing. Cindy believes in trading an individual from the ‘inside out.’ If one does not have adequate strength at the core, and a solid foundation, one cannot safely progress to a more advanced level of training. Cindy pays careful attention to safety and proper biomechanics when instructing her clients. She is constantly reading on new exercise methods to be sure her clients are getting the best. The American College of Sports Medicine, The American Council on Exercise, and The National Academy of Sports Medicine set the standards that Cindy abides by in her training business.
One of Cindy’s most favorable traits as a trainer is her ability to focus on you, her client, 100% during your work out session. She listens well, and encourages feedback from clients throughout the session. After all, these work outs are about you, the client! Cindy believes fitness should be fun and not a chore. She will expose you to a variety of activities to see what motivates you the most. And last but not least, Cindy practices what she preaches. She will never ask you to do anything she hasn’t done herself. Her lifelong involvement in physical fitness and sports inspires clients of all ages. |
