Why should I train with Cindy?

Cindy is committed to helping you achieve your health and fitness dreams. She will educate, motivate, and inspire you to reach your fullest potential. Your program will begin with a thorough evaluation which includes state of the art metabolic testing equipment.

Based on your assessment and goals, Cindy will design a systematic, results oriented program especially for you. Your training will not simply be about dumb bells, though you might use them occasionally in our sessions. Cindy is a stickler on form and technique so all your moves will be carefully watched. Your workouts will be creative, fun, and most important, effective. You’ll have a ball using the ball, your balance will be challenged, and your posture improved.

Lifestyle enhancement is the ultimate goal, whether that means decreasing your body fat, increasing your strength, relieving stress, lowering blood pressure and cholesterol, modifying your eating behaviors, or learning how to play again.

Cindy structures her work with clients based on their health status, fitness level, goals, and time constraints. Many clients chose to work with Cindy two to three times weekly on an ongoing basis. Other chose to work with Cindy until they feel confident enough to work out on their own.

A Team Approach

Cindy is well-networked with health care professionals in the Ft.Worth/Dallas area. She routinely confers with clients’ physicians and other health care team members to ensure everyone is on the same page. Cindy’s advisory board includes: medical doctors, a nurse practitioner, registered dietitian, licensed athletic trainer, physical therapist, psychotherapist, massage therapist, and alternative medicine specialist.

Fitness Assessment/Evaluation

A comprehensive fitness assessment aned evaluation sets Cindy apart from other trainers. Upon completion of an extensive health questionnaire; measurements of height, weight, blood pressure, and body composition are taken. You will then take a resting metabolic rate test which measures exactly how many calories you burn at rest. Another metabolic test will be performed which determines your cardio respiratory fitness level and provides Cindy with important data to design an effective cardio program for you. A comprehensive flexibility assessment follows to evalute joint range of motion so you don't exceed those limitations. Finally, Cindy evaluates your posture while educating you on the importance of good spinal alignment and how it can affect the quality of your daily life.

The Plan

Cindy carefully evaluates each clients results and takes a systematic approach to designing their program. She views every work out thereafter as another opportunity to evaluate her client by observing them carefully as they perform each exercise.

Training Location
Cindy is the exclusive personal trainer at a semiprivate training gym in the TCU/Tanglewood area of Ft.Worth, Tx. The atmosphere is pleasant and non-intimidating. There is no additional gym fee to train with Cindy at this facility.
